Tiles Shop in Kochi & Tiles Showroom in Ernakulam

On November 3rd, 1993, Tropical, a wholesale and retail store of the esteemed Kajaria Tiles was opened by Mr. Zubair Naina- a man of legacy. This is the story of the first Kajaria shop in Kerala, located on P.T.Usha Road, Kochi.

While the store thrived, catering to the ever expanding market in Kerala, Mr. Zulfiquar Naina took over the business- with an innovative vision and great capability to execute it. Mr. Zulfiquar brought  Designer Tiles which became a hit in residences and commercial buildings alike and established Tropical as a leader in the tiles industry of Kerala.

Moving 10 steps further, Mr. Zulfiquar expanded the business and opened a new outlet of tropical in 2011 at Edapally. The new Tropical was a one-stop premium shop for all imported tiles, sanitary and other fittings- a first of its kind in Kerala. Imported tiles and sanitary fittings were the new best thing in Kerala through the work of Tropical.

Having dedicated his life to the growth and success of Tropical, Mr.Zulfiquar Naina passed away in the year 2016, leaving his business in the very able hands of his brother, Mr. Althaf Naina.

Adeptly handling the challenges that come with taking over a successfully running business, Mr. Althaf marches forward at the helm of Tropical with new visions in sight- seeking new horizons to explore.
